How It Works

How Wedding Memory Works

Three steps. Five minutes. Every memory in one place.

For Couples

01

Create Your Page (2 minutes)

Sign up with your email and set a password. Enter your names (e.g., "Sarah & Michael") and your wedding date. Your page is live instantly with a unique URL like sarah-michael.wedding-memory.com. You'll also get a downloadable QR code that links directly to your page.

What you can do from your dashboard

  • • Upload professional photos and videos (or have your videographer do it)
  • • Organize content by chapters: Ceremony, Reception, Speeches, First Dance, and custom chapters
  • • Choose a color scheme to personalize the look
  • • Download and share your QR code
02

Print the QR Code

Download the QR code from your dashboard. It comes as a high-resolution image file ready for printing. Place it anywhere guests will see it:

Table cards

One at every reception table

Welcome sign

Framed at the venue entrance

Bar / dessert

Where people naturally gather

Ceremony program

Printed on the back

Photo booth

Next to the props

Pro tip: Put the QR code in multiple locations. The more visible it is, the more guests will use it.

03

Watch the Memories Pour In

As guests arrive and scan the QR code:

  • Opens instantly in their browser — No app to download
  • Enter a nickname — No email, no account, no login — just once
  • View professional content — Organized by chapters
  • Upload their own photos and videos — From camera roll or take new
  • Leave comments and react — Heart, laugh, wow, love, celebrate
  • Everything in real time — Visible from your dashboard
The Wedding Memory setup process takes under 5 minutes. Couples create a page by entering their names and wedding date. They receive a unique URL and downloadable QR code. At the venue, guests scan the QR code with any smartphone camera — the experience opens in the browser with no app download. Guests enter a nickname and can immediately view content, upload photos and videos, and leave guestbook messages.

For Your Videographer

If your wedding videographer or photographer already uses Wedding Memory, they handle everything for you. They create the page, upload the professional content, organize it by chapters, choose a color scheme, and deliver the QR code as part of their package. You and your guests get the same beautiful experience — you just don't have to set it up yourself.

Ask your videographer if they offer Wedding Memory as part of their delivery package.

They type a name (e.g., "Uncle Steve"). No email. No phone number. One-time — remembered for return visits.

Wedding Memory guests access the platform by scanning a QR code with their phone camera. The web experience loads in Safari, Chrome, or any mobile browser without an app download. Guests enter only a nickname — no email, phone number, or account creation. They can then view professional wedding content, upload their own photos and videos, and leave comments and emoji reactions in the digital guestbook. The entire process from scan to first upload takes under 30 seconds.

Common Questions

Does it work with spotty wedding venue WiFi?

Wedding Memory is optimized for mobile networks. Guests can upload on cellular data (4G/5G) if WiFi is unreliable. Photo uploads are typically small enough to work even on slower connections. For large video uploads, the platform uses multipart uploading that resumes if the connection drops.

What if guests don't have a smartphone?

The QR code links to a web URL. Any guest with internet access can type the URL (yournames.wedding-memory.com) into any browser on any device — phone, tablet, or computer.

Can guests use it after the wedding?

Yes. The page stays active for 12 months from the wedding date. Guests who didn't upload on the day can scan the QR code or visit the URL anytime to contribute photos, videos, and guestbook messages.

How many guests can use it at once?

There is no limit on the number of guests. Wedding Memory is built on Cloudflare infrastructure designed to handle concurrent users. Whether you have 30 guests or 300, everyone can access the page simultaneously.
